Start-Over Success Business Under $500
Freelance Writer

When it comes to freelance writing for businesses, there are two kinds.

    1) Content Writing creates engagement, educates, and builds the brand image.  Content builds the relationship with the brand and creates customer “feel good” experiences.

    2) Copywriting is for marketing and inspiring action in the prospect, as in following a Call to Action and signing up for an email list, setting a discovery meeting, or other CTA. Copywriting is for ads, landing pages, and all parts of the sales funnel. It is for email autoresponder letters to influence buyer decisions.

I was under the impression that Fivver was not a good place to make money as a freelancer. Maybe you thought that, too. We were both so very wrong.
Alex Fasulo is earning $378 a year on Fivver.

1. What income must you earn?

First, consider what income you need for your basic and necessary expenses.

What can you earn? Zip Recruitor says the average pay for a writer is $33/hr (from $20/hr to $50/hr). But, consider that you will spend much of your time getting work, doing administrative tasks, and more un-billable hours. Because of that, even being paid $50/hr may not be enough to leave you with $37/hr after all the time you spend and subtracting your costs.

Dan Lok says it best in his YouTube video, “Position yourself as a writer who creates income for clients and they will happily pay you for the value you bring. How/ They value the return on investment you generate for them. They do not care much about what they pay you per hour or word. To be paid well, produce well.

Now, if you cannot deliver ROI for clients (yet), educate yourself and practice, practice, practice until you can. If you need and want to earn more, writing is a great path for you to take. Help others make more money with your writing, and your fortunes as a writer are assured.
